Division focuses on delivering advanced electrified power train, zero-emissions products/technologies, and the solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of industry safety standards and support product development.
  • Communication of requirements to Engineering teams, ensuring that actions are clearly agreed, and delivered to timelines.
  • Facilitation of Risk Assessment sessions, evaluation of products against standards, compile functional safety assessments, and the development of risk mitigation plans.
  • Support the resolution of technical issues in line with industry standards.
  • Compile compliance documentation for submission to certification bodies
  • Develop and implement Lean processes for the delivery of compliant products and management of risks

Required Skills:

  • Qualification in an engineering discipline relevant to Electrification and Electric powertrain component development.
  • Experienced engineer with background in product development.
  • An ability to review and apply product standards such as IEC 60204-1, ISO 12100 and ISO 13849, and provide guidance to engineers and other business functions.
  • Experience of developing technical reports that demonstrate product capability for use in compliance certifications and homologation.

Education/Experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required with 5+ years experience required.
  • Master's degree in engineering required with 3+ years experience required.
