Our client, a national provider of engineering, procurement, and construction management is looking for experienced P&C (Protection and Controls) Senior Engineers.

ACT Pro is fortunate to be working directly with the Program Team Leadership and have had great success placing engineers with this client partner. This exciting role includes the opportunity to mentor and train junior engineers and designers as well as collaborate with other design disciplines.

ROLE: Senior Engineer, Substation P&C
TYPE: Full time salaried positions

The individual will work in an in-office (hybrid), team environment to provide engineered P&C designs for constructability of Power Substations.

To be considered

  • You will need to be accomplished in all aspects of P&C Substation design and be able to lead design projects from concept through completion of constructible design.
  • 10+ years practice experience supporting the power utility industry and be familiar with all major control schemes associated with Power Substations P&C design.
  • Ability to read Power System One-Line Diagrams
  • Familiarity with the full complement of Substation P&C design drawings
    • including development of relay diagrams
    • three-line diagrams
    • AC & DC elementaries
    • front and rear panel views
    • wiring diagrams and communications diagrams.
