Job Description

Our client, a national  Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management Firm is seeking a candidate with the following qualifications to join their team as a Substation Protection and  Control Designer.

The role requires the creation of documentation for Power Substation Design, utilizing advanced design software and techniques for developing Power Substation Protection and Control (PC) design.

The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in crafting complete PC engineering packages for Power Substation construction at different voltage levels for both transmission and distribution. It should be noted that this is a non-managerial position.

  • 5 - 12 years of experience in Substation Protection & Control (PC) Design
  • Minimum of AS degree in technical field of study
  • CAD Experience is required– MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to interpret written/documented specifications and apply them to engineering design.
