Our client, located in Pine Brook, is currently looking to add an Entry Level Purchasing Specialist to join their team.

Client is a global manufacturer and a great place to work.

This position handles daily operational functions from issuing Production orders to factories, managing delivery schedule of production, packaging communication to factories, verifying pricing on PO’s, invoices, TOP sample approval, production schedule and mange vendor issues & on time delivery.  The role acts as a liaison between Sales and Operations and is responsible for ensuring that customer orders are properly and efficiently processed according to the guidelines established by the company.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Issue POs and confirm production order will meet customer shipping window as requested
  • Control and manage pricing and assure invoices match PO pricing in computer system
  • Investigate price discrepancies, discuss with Operations Assistant Manager for approval
  • Communicate with factories with any delivery, packaging, pricing, or supply issues
  • Communicate any issues of product, quality control, and delivery with department and Operations Assistant Manger prior to updating and confirming with factories.
  • Prioritize, allocate and monitor movement of customer orders
  • Ensure product is in stock for timely delivery
  • Attend Department meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Experience with purchasing, planning, or customer service.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite Programs
  • Intermediate Math Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and orally.
