Job Description

A prominent and well-established law firm is seeking a Financial Systems Manager to lead the strategy, optimization, and support of its financial applications and reporting tools. This individual will serve as the bridge between Finance, IT, and Practice Leadership — ensuring that the firm’s financial systems are stable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

What You'll Do:

• Act as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the firm’s financial systems (e.g., Aderant, SQL Server)
• Collaborate with Finance and IT leadership on system enhancements, reporting, integrations, and roadmap planning
• Manage and support financial application upgrades, user testing, and vendor relationships
• Ensure data integrity and improve financial reporting across the firm
• Provide support for billing, timekeeping, budgeting, and forecasting tools
• Partner with attorneys, finance staff, and vendors to solve issues and optimize processes

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience managing financial systems within a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong knowledge of legal financial applications (Aderant preferred)
• Solid SQL skills and comfort working with large datasets
• Experience leading system upgrades, integrations, and end-user training
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
