Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration, compliance with federal and state regulations, and implementing best practices in payroll management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, including data entry, calculation, and distribution of paychecks.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee status changes, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and reporting.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries from employees.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports and filings.
- Implement and improve payroll systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in payroll management and administration.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with employees and management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management or related roles.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
