Our client in Atlanta is hiring for the role of Senior Accountant. This hybrid role (four days in-office, WFH on Fridays) offers the opportunity to support a leading team with this position available due to an internal promotion. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills and experience in general ledger, helping to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency across departments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee various balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, inventory, and receivables

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reclassifications

• Review monthly P&Ls and assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Support annual audit preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA certification required

• Minimum of 2 years in accounting; public foundation is a plus

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective cross-functional communication
