Our client in Buford, GA is hiring for the role of Accounting Manager. This role offers the opportunity to lead a growing accounting team in a fast-paced environment, working directly with business unit leaders to drive financial visibility and integrity. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in GAAP, job costing, and leadership experience across both financial reporting and operational accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial reports.

• Lead, mentor, and review work of staff and senior accountants.

• Perform WIP and job cost analysis, and conduct monthly financial meetings with business leaders.

• Manage the annual budget process, support audits, and coordinate tax filings and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.

• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
