A global manufacturer for commercial, industrial and residential settings is seeking a Materials Manager to lead end-to-end materials management and drive operational performance. This position ensures efficient material flow, optimized inventory levels, and strong cross-functional coordination.

About the opportunity

• Lead shipping, receiving, planning, procurement, and inventory control functions.
• Develop and continuously improve materials management strategies, policies, procedures, and systems.
• Oversee procurement, production planning, inventory control, and supply chain coordination.
• Own key performance metrics including inventory turns, backorders, backlog, cash flow impact, and service levels.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to support demand planning and new product introductions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team.

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree

3+ years experience in materials management, supply chain, planning, and/or procurement

Experience leading a team and ability to lead in a matrixed environment

Strong planning systems experience

Excellent communication and data analysis skills

Continuous Improvement background
