The HR Manager will lead the day-to-day HR function, serving as a trusted advisor to management and employees across the organisation. Working closely with leadership, you will design and implement HR policies, performance frameworks, and talent strategies that support organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and grievance management, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Oversee HR compliance with state and federal employment laws, including policy updates, documentation, audits, and risk mitigation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated, understood, and consistently applied across the organisation.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition processes, including workforce planning, job design, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning with managers and employees.
- Analyse HR data and metrics (e.g. turnover, headcount, time-to-hire, performance trends) to produce regular reports and actionable insights for leadership.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on people management, performance issues, organisational changes, and best-practice HR approaches.
- Oversee HR administration and employee lifecycle processes, ensuring accurate records, efficient workflows, and a positive employee experience.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an HR Manager or senior HR generalist role in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations cases, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
- Hands-on experience leading full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition in a corporate or multi-site environment.
- Solid background in designing and managing performance management processes and tools.
- Proficiency in HR data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret metrics and present findings to leadership.
