About the Role:
As Quality & Training Manager, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of quality assurance and training programmes across the business. You will lead and develop a team, build robust quality and training frameworks, and ensure that operational performance is monitored, analysed, and continuously improved. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will align quality and learning initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the quality and training team to deliver high standards of performance and engagement.
- Design, implement, and maintain training programmes, curricula, and materials that support onboarding, upskilling, and continuous learning.
- Develop and oversee quality assurance frameworks, including audits, monitoring, and calibration processes, to ensure consistent service and compliance.
- Analyse performance and quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement, and translate findings into actionable plans.
- Collaborate with operational leaders and stakeholders to align quality and training initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and optimise quality tools, systems, and reporting to support data-driven decision making and performance visibility.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, standardising best practices and ensuring sustainable adoption across teams.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to managers and team members to embed a culture of accountability, quality, and learning.
Key Requirements:
- Four year degree in Engineering, Operations, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in a quality and training management role, leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including performance management, coaching, and team development.
- Hands-on experience in quality assurance and compliance management, including audit and monitoring processes.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing at multiple levels.
- Proven ability to drive process improvement and optimisation initiatives from concept through to implementation.
- Comfortable working with quality tools and systems, with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and usability.
