About the Role:
As a Distribution Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained within our distribution centers. You will lead initiatives to optimize quality systems, enhance operational efficiency, and implement strategic improvements that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of quality control processes within the distribution center.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality standards into operational practices.
- Manage quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Define and publish DC quality KPIs: Perfect Order Rate, Accuracy, Damage Rate, Returns Trends, and Customer Complaints.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize distribution center operations.
- Utilize SAP to manage and streamline quality control data and reporting.
- Resolve quality-related issues through effective problem-solving strategies.
Key Requirements:
- 4 year degree in engineering, manufacturing, etc.
- A minimum of 5 years of quality or operations experience in a distribution environment.
- Ability to work with Customer/Supplier representatives regarding all quality related issues.
- Excellent organizational skills with focus on detail.
- Knowledge of WMS processes and inventory control.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma and data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in using SAP for quality
