Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in the aerospace and defense sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our products and processes. This permanent position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in quality management systems and regulatory compliance specific to aerospace and defense industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics and report findings.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
- Work closely with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns and improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering within the aerospace and defense industry or other highly regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with AS9100 compliance process or other regulated compliance process.
- Proven track record of leading quality improvement initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is a plus.
