Job Description

SUMMARY
Our Client, an established North American avionics and aerospace systems manufacturer, seeks a Director of Sales, USA & Canada.
You'll own the revenue and growth objectives, lead and coach the sales team, and stay directly involved with customers across the aerospace, defense and government landscape.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
•     Set and deliver the plan/playbook for managing sales and achieving goals, ensuring a healthy, well-qualified pipeline.
•     Lead, coach, and develop sales team while remaining hands-on with major pursuits and strategic accounts.
•     Oversee opportunity strategy from lead to close, including proposals, internal approvals, CRM discipline, and forecast accuracy.
•     Build strong senior-level customer relationships and feed structured market and competitive insight back into product and portfolio planning.
•     Partner closely with senior leadership, product, and marketing on portfolio focus, events/tradeshows, and overall go to market strategy in the region.
QUALIFICATIONS
•     Bachelor’s degree, with excellent executive communication, financial acumen, and negotiation skills.
•     Background in aerospace, defense, or avionics sales/business development and experience building strong relationships.
•     Track record of building and leading sales teams to achieve ambitious revenue and growth goals.
•     Solid understanding of complex deal structures, government contracting, and international trade considerations.
•     Technically fluent, having worked closely with advanced avionics and electronic platforms.
•     Willingness to travel frequently (up to ~50%).
•     Ability to meet ITAR requirements.
