Sales Account Manager – Sustainability Solutions
Position Summary
The Sales Account Manager for Sustainability Solutions is responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients within an assigned territory or portfolio. This role focuses on driving customer retention and expanding engagement by offering a comprehensive range of environmental services.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships to ensure loyalty and satisfaction.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of available services, pricing structures, and solutions to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Renew and extend client agreements to enhance profitability and continuity.
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding pricing strategies and service updates.
- Utilize CRM tools daily to schedule, track, and document calls, meetings, and proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service requirements are met efficiently.
- Increase client penetration by promoting the full suite of environmental solutions.
- Meet regularly with leadership to review progress against retention and growth goals.
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and community activities to build visibility and relationships.
- Work with accounts receivable as needed to maintain timely collections.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in environmental, hazardous, or solid waste management. Recycling experience also valued.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
