Our client, a Fortune 250 global industrial manufacturer, is looking for a Director of Operations to be responsible for leading all division operations to achieve strategic growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. The company is well known for outstanding financial performance and a culture of employee engagement and continuous improvement.
Scope / Supervision & Interaction
This position oversees multiple facilities and teams to deliver results aligned with the company’s goals and long-term plans.
Provides leadership across all operational sites and coordinates cross-functional activities. Directly oversees plant management and manufacturing operations while engaging with customers, distributors, and internal teams at all levels.
Essential Functions:
• Drive profitable growth and achieve operational and financial goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Build and sustain a culture of premier customer service and continuous improvement.
• Lead operational strategy with a focus on Lean initiatives, efficiency, and asset management.
• Champion Lean principles across all facilities to optimize productivity and eliminate waste.
• Ensure effective production planning, inventory management, and logistics performance.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, maintaining performance within financial objectives.
• Monitor competitive trends and adjust operational strategies accordingly.
• Represent operations in cross-functional business reviews and strategy sessions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and development through strong leadership and performance management.
What we are seeking:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of operational leadership with full P&L responsibility.
• Proven track record of managing multi-site operations and achieving performance goals.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience presenting to executive teams and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and develop talent.
