Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Value Stream Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, from raw materials to the finished product, and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Opportunity:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the value stream process.
- Oversee the planning and execution of the production process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the value stream process.
- Ensure that all products are produced on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Manage and develop a team of production staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the production process.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
What we are seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a production management role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
- Financial acumen of profit and loss statements, etc. is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
