Business Development Manager-Electronic Manufacturing Services
Reside in Midwest or NE U.S. Remote w/ Travel
Our client, a global manufacturer of advanced electronics for the industrial, military, and aerospace/defense sectors, is seeking a Business Development Manager to accelerate the growth of their contract manufacturing (EMS) business. This role will concentrate on acquiring and developing profitable new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand revenue by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
- Build strong, consultative relationships with key decision-makers.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to shape targeted customer presentations and technical solution proposals tailored to contract manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain deep understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
- Share competitive intelligence and market insights across the sales organization to drive continuous improvement and support long-term growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience in a related technical or commercial field.
- Minimum of five years’ direct sales experience in electronic and contract manufacturing within the industries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sales cycle, technical sales environments and negotiate complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Superior presentation and communication skills, with a proven record of engaging at all organizational levels.
- Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) to engage with clients and attend industry events.
