Position Summary
The Sales Director is responsible for leading and managing the commercial team, ensuring effective execution of sales growth initiatives and upholding high standards of conduct. This role oversees performance management, talent development, recruitment, and other key aspects of team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and drive execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Oversee, lead, coach and manage team performance, development.
Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and business direction.
Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and contribute to business growth plans.
Foster a culture of high standards, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.
Significant progressive leadership experience with a strong track record of delivering results.
Executive-level sales experience required.
Industry experience in aerospace and defense highly preferred; general aviation or related technical knowledge is a plus.
Strong business and financial acumen.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic and executive selling, market analysis, and team leadership.
Ability to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
Proven skills in competitor analysis and market positioning.
