Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Engineer for our client - a Leading Food Manufacturer dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and quality. In this role, you will design and optimize packaging solutions that ensure product integrity, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective packaging solutions; evaluate materials for durability and regulatory compliance.
• Optimize packaging processes to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead packaging projects from concept through implementation, collaborating with R&D, production, logistics, and marketing teams.
• Ensure packaging and equipment meet safety, legal, and environmental standards, driving continuous improvement through data analysis and documentation.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 5+years of packaging design experience—preferably in food manufacturing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and packaging software
• Knowledgeable of ISTA and ASTM standards.
• Experience in sustainability initiatives and product lifecycle management
