Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Strip Operations Manager to lead our metal alloy strip rolling operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality strip products while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily strip rolling operations to ensure production targets for quality, quantity, and cost are consistently met.
  • Champion safety, health, and environmental stewardship in all operational activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, environmental performance, yield, productivity, quality, and cost.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and health regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement departmental business and operational strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Engage, motivate, and develop team members to achieve high levels of employee engagement and performance.
  • Monitor equipment reliability and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of products to meet customer requirements and enhance customer satisfaction (both internal and external).
  • Collaborate as a key member of the site leadership team to improve overall plant effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; BS in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Engineering, or MBA preferred.
  • Previous experience in industrial operations management strongly preferred.
  • Experience with metal rolling processes highly desirable.
  • Lean manufacturing certification is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
