Job Description
The Eastern Regional Sales Manager will oversee the sales for fencing and construction building materials within the upper Midwest and East Coast regions. This role requires an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the construction materials industry, particularly in fencing products. The successful candidate will develop and execute strategic sales plans and manage key customer & distributor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual strategic sales plans and budget.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders to increase market penetration and enhance brand visibility.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to adapt sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, participate in trade shows, and conduct product presentations to drive awareness and sales.
- Utilizing Salesforce CRM, prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Meet with customers on a regular basis (in person and remotely) to develop deep relationships, understand requirements and communicate opportunities
What we are seeking:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the construction building materials, fencing and/or other industrial products.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share in a competitive environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel 50-60%
