Job Description
Our client, a national distributor of wires, cables, and electronic products serving diverse industries, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Illinois and Indiana. This remote role requires up to 70% travel within the assigned territory.
The Territory Sales Manager focuses on growing sales and strengthening customer loyalty within their territory by providing excellent customer service and partnering with Sales Support, Customer Operations, and cross-functional teams to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by managing sales territory, building customer relationships, and developing new prospects.
- Provide application expertise, create/deliver sales proposals, and leverage manufacturing partners for comprehensive product offerings.
- Lead customer meetings, collaborate with internal teams, and maintain availability for in-person interactions.
Requirements
- BA or equivalent sales/industry experience
- Strong technical background with a track record of success in territory management, prospecting, and building both new and established customer relationships.
- Success in remote role with travel and organizing face-to-face meetings with customers.
- Proficient with CRMs as a sales tool
- Experienced in cross-functional collaboration
