Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager with expertise in Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) to join their growing company. The Product Manager will be responsible for the product lifecycle management, from strategic planning to tactical activities. This role requires a deep understanding of TPE products, market trends, and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the company vision.
- Define and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
2. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities and threats in the TPE market.
3. Product Development:
- Work closely with R&D to define product specifications and ensure product development aligns with market needs.
- Manage the product development process from ideation to launch.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Provide training and support to sales teams to ensure they have the necessary product knowledge.
5. Customer Engagement:
- Engage with key customers to gather feedback and understand their needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners.
6. Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor product performance and conduct regular analysis to ensure products meet business objectives.
- Implement corrective actions when necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
What we are seeking:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and other plastics.
- Strong knowledge of TPE materials, applications, and market trends.
- Proven track record of successfully managing product lifecycles from concept to launch.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with global markets and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to travel 30-50%.
