We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Business Development Manager with a strong background in plastics and aerospace industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
The Opportunity:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth targets in the aerospace sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients in the aerospace industry.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close business deals to achieve sales targets.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company’s products and services.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and customer satisfaction.
What we are seeking:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the plastics industry.
- Established customer relationships with the Aerospace industry
- A “hunter” mentality with entrepreneurial mind-set.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong knowledge of plastics and their applications in the aerospace
- Demonstrated use of CRM in managing their territory.
- Ability to travel 60+% of the time.
