Position Description

The Demand Planning Analyst plays a critical role on our client's Supply Chain team to ensure they have data and insight to the analysis, forecasting and planning for future sales models and trends.

You'll work with cross-functional team members to interpret sales, customer, POS and other data points to build plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run the demand planning process, forecasting future customer needs and translating to production and purchasing plans
  • Leads the development, tracking, and forecasting of sales volume for internal customer teams
  • Develop and manage weekly/monthly volume forecasts using modeling, trends and other demand levers and tools
  • Works with sales to prepare performance and customer pattern analytics plans
  • Analyzes sales trends and provides risks & opportunities to create actionable plans
  • Identifies opportunities on new business volumes and risks to base forecast

Requirements

  • BA degree or practical experience in a Supply Chain/Demand planner role
  • 2+ years’ experience working with sales and production
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to gather, analyze, and present large datasets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work proactively with a high sense of urgency and curiosity
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel
  • Desire to grow your career and advance in the Supply Chain profession
