This is a new role, expanded to provide HR Leadership in North America. You will have oversight for strategy and direction of employee experience, providing HR Leadership across business units and geographies.  You will support and partner with Business leaders to implement and execute programs and processes at both a strategic and hands-on level.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead HR operations and processes within North America
  • Partner and strategize with Business Leaders to support a culture of engagement, safety, performance management and continuous improvement
  • Works with site management and HR by providing coaching and support in all areas of talent management, including selection, assessment, development, deployment, engagement and retention of talent.
  • Assesses, prioritizes and supports workforce needs and HR operations.
  • Ensure consistent adoption of company policies, guidelines, and practices by managers and employees
  • Lead role in ongoing assessment of HR process effectiveness and identification, implementation of improvement opportunities and solution
  • Creates/drives annual performance reviews, compensation and succession planning processes
  • Interfaces with the Company's external auditors on matters of routine audits and compliance reviews
  • Analyze and monitor HR performance metrics and KPIs

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field. Preferred MBA or MS related to Human Resources or Finance.

7+ years HR experience with multi-sites in a manufacturing environment, union and non-union

Experience providing support in North America

Lean manufacturing experience, certification highly preferred

Data-driven and able to use BI Tools to measure/manage and lead

Progressively responsible hands-on experience managing core HR functions such as recruitment, compensation, succession planning, benefit designs, employee relations, legal compliance and labor relations.

Prior experience working in a matrix environment, highly desirable

Ensures legal compliance related to Human Resource practices. Proven understanding of local labor and benefit laws such as FMLA, ADA, pay eq etc.

Excellent teamwork, problem solving, analytical and project leadership skills required

Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion, maturity and professionalism

Work Environment

This position is onsite and requires the willingness to travel 25%, to sites in the U.S., Cananda and Mexico as needed.
