Job Title: Retained Search Consultant
Overview: As a retained search consultant, you will play a critical role in assisting our clients in identifying, attracting, and hiring exceptional candidates for strategic positions within their organizations. You will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from conducting in-depth candidate research to negotiating offers. This role requires a combination of strong interpersonal skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to effectively manage multiple search assignments simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs, organizational culture, and business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on talent acquisition strategies and market trends.

Candidate Sourcing and Assessment:
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including database searches, networking, direct sourcing, and referrals, to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit with client organizations.
- Present candidate shortlists to clients, providing detailed profiles and recommendations based on assessment findings.

Search Execution:
- Develop and execute customized search strategies to target top talent within specified industries and functional areas.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate identification, engagement, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer negotiation.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, maintaining open communication and providing timely feedback.

Market Research and Insights:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market dynamics relevant to clients' talent needs.
- Provide clients with actionable insights and recommendations based on market research and benchmarking data.

Project Management:
- Effectively manage multiple search assignments simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal team members, including research associates and administrative staff, to support search activities and deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in executive search, talent acquisition, or recruitment, preferably within a retained search firm or executive placement agency.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific hiring practices, trends, and talent pools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, candidates, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting candidate assessments and evaluating cultural fit.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using recruitment tools and technologies, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and online sourcing platforms.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, industry events, or candidate interviews.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed to accommodate client and candidate schedules.
