Marine Electrical Electrician or Technician

Auckland | Full-time

Looking for a role where you can work on more than just the same electrical jobs day in, day out?

We’re looking for an experienced Marine Electrical Technician to join a team working across high-end recreational vessels, commercial boats and a range of industrial electrical projects.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, covering everything from fault-finding and servicing through to new installations, testing and compliance work.

What you’ll be doing:

• Marine electrical fault-finding, repairs and servicing
• New installations and electrical upgrades
• Electrical testing, compliance and EWoF work
• Working across recreational and commercial vessels
• Industrial electrical work including shore power, wharves and floating structures
• Working directly with customers and providing practical solutions
• Assisting with quoting and job scoping
• Supporting apprentices and working alongside the wider team

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified electrician or Technician with marine electrical experience
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good understanding of electrical regulations and compliance
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer skills
• Someone who takes pride in their workmanship
• A proactive approach and willingness to get stuck in
