Water Technician – Auckland

Big projects. Solid crews. Plenty of work ahead.

We’re looking for experienced Water Technicians to join a well-established civil contractor delivering major infrastructure and three waters projects across Auckland.

This role will suit someone who’s worked around watermain installation, shutdowns, repairs, maintenance and live networks, and knows how to operate safely and efficiently on busy civil sites.

Experience around any of the below would be highly regarded:

• Water reticulation and network maintenance
• Pressure testing, chlorination and pigging
• Shutdowns and live connections
• Mechanical works including flanges, spools and Gibaults
• Air valves, PRV’s and scour valves
• Butt welding / EF welding
• Pump station work
• TCC / WBOP network knowledge
• Leading small crews on site

What we’re looking for:

• Civil or water infrastructure experience
• Strong work ethic and good attitude
• Able to work well within a crew environment
• Confined Space and RTW preferred
• Class 2 and WTR advantageous
• Digger operating experience desirable
