We're looking for an experienced Drainlayer to join a growing civil construction team delivering a range of infrastructure, subdivision, and three waters projects across the Waikato.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being out on site, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a crew that delivers quality outcomes. While drainage will be your primary focus, you'll also have the opportunity to get involved in other aspects of civil construction, including earthworks and roading.

With a strong pipeline of work ahead, this is a great opportunity to join a company that values good people, backs hard work, and offers genuine opportunities for development.

About the role

• Installation of sewer, stormwater, and potable water infrastructure

• Deep drainage, trenching, bedding, and backfilling to specification

• Pipe laying, manholes, and associated drainage structures

• Reading and interpreting plans and drawings

• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance

• Working alongside operators, labourers, and supervisors to deliver quality outcomes

• Supporting other civil activities when required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in civil drainage

• Experience with deep drainage, sewer, stormwater, and potable water systems

• Registered Drainlayer preferred but not essential

• Digger operating experience an advantage but not essential

• Honest, reliable, and willing to get stuck in

• Strong work ethic and pride in quality workmanship

• Ability to work well within a team environment

• Full Class 1 licence required

What's on Offer

• Competitive pay for the right person

• Secure, long-term work with a strong forward workload

• Variety of projects across drainage, subdivisions, and civil infrastructure

• Modern plant and equipment

• Tight-knit team with a great culture

• Opportunities to learn, develop, and progress your career

• A company that backs good people and rewards hard work

Keen to get involved?

If you're an experienced Drainlayer looking for a role with variety, quality projects, and a team that values your contribution, we'd love to hear from you.

Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand and be willing to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
