Drainlayer Hamilton
We're looking for an experienced Drainlayer to join a growing civil construction team delivering a range of infrastructure, subdivision, and three waters projects across the Waikato.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being out on site, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a crew that delivers quality outcomes. While drainage will be your primary focus, you'll also have the opportunity to get involved in other aspects of civil construction, including earthworks and roading.

About the role
Installation of sewer, stormwater, and potable water infrastructure
Deep drainage, trenching, bedding, and backfilling to specification
Pipe laying, manholes, and associated drainage structures
Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
Working alongside operators, labourers, and supervisors to deliver quality outcomes
Supporting other civil activities when required
What we're looking for
Proven experience in civil drainage
Experience with deep drainage, sewer, stormwater, and potable water systems
Registered Drainlayer preferred but not essential
Digger operating experience an advantage but not essential
Honest, reliable, and willing to get stuck in
Strong work ethic and pride in quality workmanship
Ability to work well within a team environment
Full Class 1 licence required
