Civil Foreman / Supervisor – Christchurch

We’re working with a well-established civil contractor delivering large-scale earthworks, drainage, siteworks and three waters projects across Canterbury. This is a business that backs its people, runs solid jobs, and expects a high standard.

They’re looking for a Civil Foreman / Supervisor who knows how to run a crew, keep work moving, and deliver properly.

Your Key Impact
You will take ownership of day-to-day site delivery — driving productivity, maintaining standards, and making sure work is completed safely, on time and to spec. Your ability to lead from the front and keep jobs on track will directly influence project outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading crews and coordinating daily site activities
• Managing plant, labour and subcontractors
• Driving programme and keeping work moving
• Maintaining health & safety and quality standards
• Working closely with Project Managers and engineers

What You’ll Bring

• Strong civil construction background (earthworks, drainage, subdivisions, three waters)
• Proven experience running crews on site
• Ability to take ownership and make decisions
• Practical mindset — you know how jobs actually get built

What’s On Offer

• $35 – $40 per hour (depending on experience)
• Company vehicle
• Time and a half after 45 hours
