Drainlayer / Water Technician

We’re looking for drainlayers or water technicians in the Hawke’s Bay region who take pride in their work and bring a strong work ethic and positive attitude to site every day.

Whether you’re an experienced drainlayer or someone with solid civil experience looking to specialise in three waters, we want to hear from you.

You’ll be working across stormwater, wastewater and water infrastructure projects, supporting crews delivering quality civil works across the region.

About the role

• Install stormwater, wastewater and water reticulation infrastructure

• Pipe laying (PVC, concrete, PE), manholes and drainage structures

• Trenching, bedding and backfilling to specification

• Work alongside experienced civil crews on infrastructure projects

• Maintain strong safety and quality standards on site

What we’re looking for

Above all else, we’re looking for people with the right attitude.

• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in

• Experience in drainlaying, civil construction or water infrastructure

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

• Class 1 licence (WTR endorsements a bonus)

• Ability to work well as part of a team
