Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background delivering structural infrastructure: including bridges, tunnels and complex civil structures, alongside Three Waters projects, with particular strength in drinking water construction.

This role suits a technically confident Project Manager who has led complex, high-risk infrastructure works, understands methodology and commercial drivers, and is comfortable owning delivery across multidisciplinary project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead self-perform delivery of water, energy, civil and structures projects
• Own project delivery, cost control and programme management
• Plan and execute works across water infrastructure, energy assets, structures and civil scopes
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors
• Manage subcontractors, crews, suppliers and site resources
• Drive commercial outcomes including forecasting, variations and cost control
• Ensure Health & Safety, quality and environmental compliance
• Build strong relationships with clients, engineers and stakeholders

About You

You’ll ideally bring:

• Proven Senior Project Manager experience in self-perform infrastructure delivery
• Strong background across water, energy, civil and structural projects
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and programme control
• High level of commercial and financial management capability
• Confident, decisive leadership style with strong site presence
• Civil engineering or construction qualification preferred
• New Zealand civil construction experience essential
