We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record delivering complex infrastructure projects across structural and Three Waters environments. This includes bridges, tunnels, major civil structures, and drinking water projects.
This role is suited to a technically strong and commercially astute leader who enjoys taking ownership of project delivery and working across multidisciplinary teams. You will play a key role in driving successful outcomes across a diverse portfolio of projects while mentoring and supporting the wider delivery team.
Lead the self-perform delivery of water, energy, civil and structural infrastructure projects
Take ownership of project delivery, programme management and cost control
Develop and execute construction methodologies and delivery strategies
Lead and mentor Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, site resources and project teams
Drive commercial performance, including forecasting, variations and financial reporting
Ensure projects are delivered safely and in accordance with quality and environmental requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
Identify and manage project risks while ensuring successful project outcomes
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally bring:
Proven experience operating at Senior Project Manager level within civil infrastructure
Strong background delivering water, energy, civil and structural projects
Experience managing complex, high-risk projects and multidisciplinary teams
Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, programme management and project controls
Strong commercial acumen and financial management capability
A confident leadership style with the ability to influence and develop others
Relevant civil engineering or construction qualification preferred
Previous New Zealand civil construction experience is essential
