We’ve partnering with a respected civil engineering consultancy delivering a diverse range of infrastructure and land development projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer looking to step into a role with real technical ownership, leadership responsibility and client-facing involvement.

You’ll lead complex projects from design through delivery, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with the Internal team, clients and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, compliant, and commercially successful outcomes.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide technical leadership across multiple complex projects, ensuring delivery aligns with project objectives, budgets, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading hands-on civil engineering design across land development and infrastructure projects

• Owning technical scope, budgets, milestones, and project risks

• Conducting design reviews and approving deliverables within competency

• Undertaking and overseeing construction monitoring activities

• Communicating with clients, councils/CCOs, consultants, and contractors

• Coordinating with surveyors, planners, contractors, and other specialists to keep projects progressing smoothly

• Mentoring intermediate and graduate engineers

• Supporting business development and identifying new opportunities

About You

You will ideally bring:

• 6+ years’ civil or land development engineering experience (indicative)

• Solid hands-on design experience using Civil3D or 12D, with ArcGIS knowledge a bonus

• Construction monitoring experience (advantageous)

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Familiarity with council/CCO approval processes

• Ability to prepare and sign Statements of Authority for council submissions

• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPENG) preferred or working toward
