We are a self-performing civil construction contractor delivering infrastructure projects across the Hawke’s Bay region. All projects are locally based.
Our work includes three waters, roading, earthworks and land development, delivered through structured systems with a strong focus on safety, quality and getting the job done properly.
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination and delivery of civil construction projects from early works through to completion.
This is a hands-on role offering exposure to programme planning, cost tracking, contract administration and site delivery, working closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and site teams.
Assist with construction programmes, sequencing and scheduling
Prepare and manage project documentation, QA records and as-builts
Coordinate plant, materials, subcontractors and site resources
Support cost tracking, progress reporting and financial updates
Identify and assist in resolving technical and site-based issues
Liaise with site teams, suppliers and consultants
Support health, safety, environmental and quality requirements
More than 2 years’ experience in a Project Engineer or similar civil role
Civil Engineering qualification preferred
Able to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Organised, proactive and solutions-focused
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
