Water Technician

Bay of Plenty

We are recruiting an experienced Water Technician for a well-established civil construction company based in the Bay of Plenty.

This role suits someone with solid hands-on experience in water reticulation who takes pride in quality work and working safely as part of a good crew.

About the role

• Water main installation and renewals

• Subdivision drainage and three waters works

• Live taps on existing water mains

• General civil and water infrastructure works

What you’ll need (one of the following):

• Connexis Level 4 Water qualification

• Registered Drainlayer

• Licensed Plumber

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in water reticulation and pipeline works

• Knowledge of live tapping and backflow testing

• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

• Strong understanding of water and civil infrastructure

• Safety-focused attitude and good work ethic

• Experience working to local council standards is an advantage
