HVAC Site Supervisor

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced HVAC Site Supervisor to lead our commercial projects, splitting your time roughly 50/50 between the office and site. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on supervision but also excels at planning, reporting, and coordinating from the office.

You’ll manage site teams, liaise with clients, oversee installations, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC installation teams on commercial projects

• Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and site activities

• Conduct site inspections and ensure Health & Safety compliance

• Manage project documentation, reports, and client communications from the office

• Support project planning, procurement, and technical problem-solving

• Ensure all works meet specifications and quality standards

What You Need to Be Successful

• Trade qualified in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (NZ or equivalent)

• Minimum 5 years HVAC experience or equivalent qualifications

• Commercial and architectural HVAC experience

• Hydronic heating experience

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Organisation and time management skills

• Experience in quoting HVAC systems is preferred but not essential (full training provided)

• Full clean driver’s licence
