Are you an experienced Programme Manager with a background in electrical infrastructure? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where strategic leadership and operational delivery go hand-in-hand? We have a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to lead the successful delivery of long-term electrical contracts across the Auckland region.
As Programme Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing multiple long-term electrical infrastructure programmes. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver on-time, on-budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Working closely with operational teams, finance, HSEQ, and senior leadership, you will ensure alignment across all areas of contract performance – from delivery and compliance to commercial outcomes and client relationships.
Lead the planning and delivery of multiple long-term electrical contracts.
Monitor performance to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
Manage programme budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Build and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders such as AIAL, Watercare, Vector, and Auckland Transport.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery teams.
Manage programme risk, performance KPIs, and subcontractor accountability.
Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams across multiple sites.
Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
Electrical Registration or relevant NZ Electrical Licence.
Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, asset management, and construction methodologies.
Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or electrical contracts.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and commercial management skills.
Proficiency with planning and financial tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera).
Understanding of NZ compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO, NZS3910, health & safety legislation).
