An established and well-respected plumbing contractor in Otago is seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator to join their team. With a strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects, this role offers both stability and the chance to make a real impact.

You’ll have the flexibility of being based in either Dunedin or Wanaka, while supporting projects across the wider region. The team prides itself on quality workmanship, community ties, and providing a supportive work environment.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tenders for plumbing projects

• Interpret plans, specifications, and drawings to scope work requirements

• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to source pricing and negotiate terms

• Collaborate with project managers and the wider team to ensure smooth delivery

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as an estimator in plumbing, construction, or related trades

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, methods, and materials

• High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy

• Confident communication and relationship-building skills

• Self-driven with the ability to manage workloads independently
