Are you an experienced Estimator with a passion for precision, people, and delivering outstanding project outcomes?

We’re on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join a respected team delivering a variety of commercial and residential projects across Auckland. This is a great opportunity to step into a pivotal role where you’ll manage pricing, relationships, and project planning – all while being supported by a tight-knit and well-established team.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate estimates and supporting project delivery from initial pricing to final handover. You’ll work closely with clients, builders, suppliers, and internal project managers to ensure each job is set up for success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Interpreting plans and specs to prepare accurate time, cost, material, and labour estimates

• Liaising with clients, builders, architects, and suppliers

• Producing professional and timely quotes and variations

• Tracking progress and following up to maximise job conversion

• Supporting procurement and forward ordering of materials and subcontractors

• Preparing handover packs for project delivery teams

• Contributing to end-of-month reconciliation, invoicing, and reporting

• Maintaining strong supplier and client relationships

• Supporting resource planning and pipeline visibility

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in electrical estimating or a similar technical role

• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management

• Sound knowledge of the electrical industry, products, and pricing

• Excellent communicator who can hold their own in meetings and negotiations

• Comfortable with estimating software (Simpro, Groundplan – training provided)

• Full NZ Driver’s Licence

• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
