Our client, who is a well-established and award-winning commercial construction company is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Hamilton team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end cost control and financial reporting for commercial builds

• Oversee procurement, subcontractor engagement and variation management

• Prepare accurate progress claims, valuations, and final accounts

• Monitor budgets, cashflow and cost-to-complete forecasting

• Liaise with clients, consultants and project teams to ensure successful delivery

• Mentor junior Quantity Surveyor team members and contribute to continuous improvement

• Identify and manage commercial risks with a solutions-focused mindset

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the commercial construction sector

• Strong understanding of NZS3910 and cost management best practices

• Excellent financial, analytical, and negotiation skills

• Effective communicator who builds strong working relationships

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

• A proactive, team-oriented approach and attention to detail
