Senior Site Engineer – Bay of Plenty

An established civil contractor with a strong project pipeline in the Bay of Plenty is looking for a Senior Site Engineer ready to take the next step in their career. This is your chance to join a progressive team that values technical excellence and leadership on the ground.

About the Role:
You’ll play a key role in project delivery – supporting the Project Manager, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring the technical and operational aspects of site delivery are smooth, safe, and on spec. From pre-starts and planning through to QA, stakeholder management and final handover.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• A degree in Civil Engineering

• 6+ years experience (NZ, Australia, UK) in civil construction, ideally in a self-performing environment.

• Deep understanding of civil methodologies and site management

• Strong technical and commercial acumen

• Proven ability to read and interpret complex plans, benchmarks and ITPs

• Confident leading teams, coordinating with subcontractors and making site-level decisions

• A level head, a good sense of humour and the ability to get things done
