Project Engineer – Civil Infrastructure

Tauranga | $140k–$170k + Vehicle + Phone + Laptop

We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join a high-performing civil team in Tauranga, delivering a range of infrastructure projects with a strong focus on 3-waters (stormwater, wastewater, and watermain).

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be trusted to help drive planning, site coordination, and commercial delivery — working closely with foremen, subcontractors, and clients to keep everything moving smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering civil and 3-waters infrastructure projects across the Bay

• Coordinating programs, QA, procurement, and subcontractors

• Managing variations, progress claims, and documentation

• Supporting site teams to ensure quality, safety, and delivery targets are met

• Acting as a key link between site, design, and the client

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years’ experience in civil construction or project engineering

• Strong knowledge of 3-waters methodology and infrastructure

• Confident planning, sequencing, and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to work across commercial and delivery aspects

• Engineering qualification (BE Civil, NZCE, or similar) preferred
