Land Surveyor – Rotorua

An established civil construction and land development company is looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join their growing team based in Rotorua. This role offers a chance to work across a wide range of infrastructure and land development projects, backed by a supportive and tight-knit crew.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in surveying in New Zealand

• Proficient with GNSS equipment and survey software (e.g., Trimble)

• Confident with topographical surveys, land transfer, and set-out work

• Experience with Landonline and LINZ standards is a bonus

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

What you’ll be doing

• Conducting field surveys on active civil sites

• Preparing plans, reports, and documentation for Council and legal submissions

• Collaborating with project teams to ensure accuracy and delivery timelines are met
