Project Engineer – Civil Construction
$90k–$120k + Vehicle + Phone + Laptop
Location: Waikato Region (Project-Based)

We’re a well-established civil contractor working across the Waikato, delivering infrastructure projects valued up to $10M. We’re on the hunt for a motivated Project Engineer to join our growing team. What you’ll do:
Support the delivery of civil construction projects from start to finish

Work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and site staff

Assist with progress claims, variations, QA, and daily reporting

Complete site setout, as-builts, topo surveys, and machine control prep

Ensure all works are carried out safely and to spec

We’re looking for someone who:
Has civil construction experience (ideally 2–5+ years) or an engineering qualification

Is a confident communicator and a team player

Brings a proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset

Is organised, detail-oriented, and keen to learn and grow

Bonus if you have survey/setout or machine control experience—but not a dealbreaker
