The Role:
As our
HR Manager, you will be the backbone of our operations. You will oversee the entire employee lifecycle while acting as our internal lead for company registration and regulatory setup. You’ll bridge the gap between "people operations" and "business operations."
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR & Culture Transformation
- Foster a high-performance culture that aligns with Valoroo’s core values.
- Lead recruitment efforts to find top-tier talent that fits our "get things done" mindset.
- Implement performance management systems that focus on development and radical candor.
2. Multi-Country Registration & Entity Management
- The Global Architect: Lead the end-to-end process of business entity registration in new countries as we scale.
- Localization Expert: Research and execute country-specific requirements for filing articles of incorporation, bylaws, and local business permits.
- Act as the primary liaison with international government agencies and legal counsel to ensure the company is "ready for business" in any new market.
3. Workforce Management (Employees & ICs)
- Hybrid Management: Expertise in managing a diverse workforce consisting of both full-time employees and Independent Contractors (ICs).
- Draft localized employment contracts and IC agreements that balance company protection with talent satisfaction.
- Ensure proper classification of workers to mitigate risks while maintaining flexibility.
4. Operations & Benefits
- Oversee payroll cycles and benefits administration for a global or distributed team.
- Develop HR policies that are clear, scalable, and—most importantly—actually useful.
Who You Are:
- The Hybrid Pro: You have 10+ years in HR Management, specifically within startups or BPOs where you’ve handled company registration and licensing.
- Contract Savvy: You deeply understand the legal and operational nuances of hiring both employees and independent contractors.
- Resourceful: You don't wait for a manual; you research local requirements and execute the registration process independently.
