Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to join our team. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing market trends, developing pricing strategies, and optimizing pricing models to maximize profitability and market share. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and finance teams to support strategic pricing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare rate quotes, proposals, and bid packages for submission to customers
- Negotiate price and rate quotes with customers, both in writing and by telephone
- Maintain and accurately control tariff and proposal preparation
- Assist in the accumulation of customer information necessary to make pricing decisions
- Manage follow-up procedures related to all pricing, quotes, proposals, accessorials, including any necessary revisions
- Monitor market price changes, including competitors’ rates and offerings
- Make proposals to management relative to pricing objectives and policies
- Support field sales efforts in attaining their volume and revenue objectives
- Coordinate all incoming bids and maintain an accurate pricing log, including new and lost business tracking
- Provide business analytics as required
- Proactively support the organization’s goals, objectives, and additional duties as assigned
