Job Description:

As a Logistics Load Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the loading and transportation of goods to ensure efficient delivery operations. Your primary focus will be on maximizing the use of space and resources while minimizing costs and delivery times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build loads in TMS and DAT load board postings
• Resolve and recovery issues with shipments
• Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Provide customer service support via email and phone
• Coordinate with carriers and drivers to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities
• Communicate with customers to provide updates on shipments and resolve any issues
• Monitor carrier performance and make recommendations for improvements
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing transportation and logistics

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a logistics load planner or similar role
• Excellent at building loads in TMS and utilizing DAT Load Board postings
• Proven experience in resolving and recovering shipment issues, tracking and tracing, and customer service via email and phone
• Knowledgeable in Freight Scheduling, Load Building, and using web portals- Bilingual is a plus!
