Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Truckload Customer Service Specialist to oversee the coordination and execution of Full Truckload (FTL) and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL)shipments. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless experience for our customers by managing shipments from dispatch to final delivery while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for shippers and carriers, ensuring timely and accurate communication throughout the shipment lifecycle.
- Monitor and track FTL and LTL shipments, proactively addressing any delays or service disruptions.
- Provide timely updates to customers, ensuring they receive clear and accurate information on their freight.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations and dispatch, to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism, maintaining a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Maintain organized records of shipments, tracking details, and customer interactions.
- Assist in load scheduling, appointment setting, and troubleshooting carrier issues as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in FTL or LTL customer service, transportation, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
- High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and logistics software (TMS, tracking tools, etc.).
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate shipment schedules.
